It has not only helped her to learn to defend herself, but has helped her to become a better person. It has helped to teach Carolyn discipline, patience, perseverance, and to be a necessity to those around her.

HAL MCMAHON

I began Tae Kwon Do in 1996 at the encouragement of my older son who was a fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and wanted to learn martial arts. After some research by my wife we decided Master Kim’s school was the best place to be. I have been with Grand Master Kim ever since.

I achieved my 1st Dan Black Belt on August 11 2007. I dropped out two times, once with my older son so he could concentrate on school and then again with my younger son for about 3 years. When he decided he wanted to start again I came back with him and continued my training. I am now a 4th Dan Black belt and both sons are Black belts with one a 2nd Dan and the other a 3rd Dan.

I am now an instructor in the main school and hope to test for 5th Dan (Master Instructor) in a few years. I enjoy teaching Tae Kwon Do and feel very rewarded when I see students that I have worked with succeed.
